FINAL FLORIDA PAYMENT DETAILS

There are a couple of items that are due in a short period of time, so please help us make sure that we get all these items complete so we can submit them on time.

Both the final payment and the medical forms are due on Tuesday, January 3.

The medical forms were distributed prior to the winter break.  They can be returned to the school athletic office, to Coach Nicky, or to Craig at the booster club meeting on January 3.

The final payment will also be due on the same day.  As we discussed at the last booster club meeting, the club will be collecting the final payment and submitting it. 

The booster club voted to use club reserve funds and current funds to reduce the amount due, for those families who are paid in full or up to date with a payment plan for their obligations to the club.  That amount has been reduced (please check your email for exact amount), and can be made via check or credit card.  If you choose to mail a check, please keep in mind that Monday is a post office holiday, so it would be best to bring the check to the booster club meeting.  Credit cards will be accepted at that time as well.  Checks should be made out to Crimson Cheer.

A big THANK YOU goes out to all 13 volunteers who helped at Cub Bagging last week. We raised more than we had planned for! So thank you volunteers. We hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season! The next Booster Club meeting is Tuesday January 3rd at 7:30pm, see you there.
 
 
Varsity Comp Parents & Cheerleaders: Your cheerleader was sent home with a medical form for UCA Nationals. It is very important that you fill this form out COMPLETELY and turn it in by Tuesday, January 3. You can do this one of two ways: turn the form into Barb at MGSH Athletics or bring the form to the Booster Club meeting on Tuesday, January 3. These forms will be mailed out the next day. Please do not tear apart the form and include all three copies (white, yellow and pink). If you have any questions, please contact Coach Nicky.
 
 
Please come READY TO GO when you arrive for your Cub Bagging Shift. Wear your 3/4 Quarter-sleeve shirt (NEW!) and jeans! Your hair should be HALF UP with a crimson bow!

_Orlando - Final Payment: As discussed at the December booster club meeting, the booster club treasurer will be coordinating the final payment for the Orlando trip.  The final payment will be due on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 7:30pm.  Checks/payments can be brought to the meeting at that time.  We will also be accepting credit card payments for the final amount, if you desire to pay that way.

What is the amount?  Well, it's still not finalized.  At the last meeting, the booster club voted to apply funds from both the current year budget and from the booster club reserve on behalf of the cheerleaders whose families were paid for the season (or who were on a payment plan and current with that plan). We ask that you plan accordingly, and we will notify you of the final amount via the weekly email during the week of December 26.

 Fundraising:

Cub Foods Bagging is on Friday, December 23 from 10am to 3pm.  Mary J. is the chairperson for this event and her co-chair is Kurt G.  They are contacting the parents who signed up to help at the event.  The cheerleader shifts will be assigned by Thursday, December 15, 2011 and an email will be sent once all shifts are assigned. 

 
 
There will be an All-Team Holiday Party on Monday, December 19 from 8-9pm! All Crimson Cheerleaders are invited to attend. We will be doing a gift exchange for those who want to participate. Please bring a wrapped gift for under $5. It can be homemade or store-bought.  Also, please plan on wearing holiday-themed attire. There will be prizes for best costumes! We will be playing games and celebrating the holiday season as a team. 
 
 
 
Thank you to everyone who came tonight! It was great to see a large turnout. Volunteer hours have been updated and posted. Please note that the only hours posted are from tonight's meeting. The Gold Squad will be cheering on the Crimson Girls Basketball team Friday night at 7pm against the Anoka Tornados.  The game is at Maple Grove Senior High in the cozy Main Gym!  I say cozy because those last few football games were pretty chilly!!! We invite all of our cheerleaders and families to come out and support the Gold Squad and MGSH Athletics! Hope to see you there!
